For Americans, 9/11 holds a special meaning.

If you’re old enough, you remember where you were when you first heard or read the rumors about a plane flying into the twin towers.

It was an awful day and the beginning of a national nightmare, the trauma of which still resonates today. So much so, that it’s hard to think that anything good could have happened that day.

But good did happen. In fact, there were 13,238 babies born in the United States that day, proving that goodness can happen, even in the midst of adversity, trouble, and sorrow.

September 11th is a special date for Ovation Home Care. On September 11, 2020—in the midst of a global pandemic—we officially received our Florida home health agency license, giving us the long-awaited opportunity to do what we had planned for so long. That is, to create a better future for aging seniors.

Needless to say, it was a heckuva time to launch a senior care agency. And our first year has been full of both challenges and causes to celebrate. But we know this much: we were put on this earth for a reason, and we will continue to devote our time, our energy, and our passion to honor aging seniors in North Central Florida and beyond.
